Bright Stars Nursery has stringent recruitment procedures in place to ensure that we recruit appropriately qualified staff that will be able to provide the best possible care and education for our nursery children.Untitled

The safety of our nursery children is our highest priority and we comply with all relevant legislation to ensure that all staff have the appropriate clearance to work with children. In addition all our staff are required to attend training in Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene which we believe contributes to our high standard of care. We ensure that we recruit members of staff at each of our Nurseries that hold high level qualifications such as; Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Teacher Status, Early Years Professional Status, BA or Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies and NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education. In addition we strive to ensure that all our staff are NVQ Level 3 qualified or working towards this level qualification. Regular training is available to all staff through a variety of providers and this is complemented by in-house training and staff supervision and appraisals on a regular basis.

Marketing & HRM AdministratorLittlebury, Cheshunt

A great opportunity for a competent administrator to join the Bright Stars Nursery group at our Head Office in Cheshunt in this interesting and varied role

We are looking for a competent Marketing & HRM Administrator for this key role based at our Head Office in Cheshunt. The postholder will support the Finance & Marketing Director and Quality & Operations Director and other Company Directors in the day-to-day management of all marketing, HRM and other administrative functions and related activities to ensure the smooth running of the Bright Stars Group for its 60+ employees.

You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 3/A Levels, have excellent communication skills and competent computer and IT skills using a variety of computer packages including Excel and social media platforms. You will need to be able to work independently, have good organisational abilities with an eye for detail and accuracy in your work. An understanding of the confidential nature of this post is also an important element.

Hours: 09:00 18:00 Monday to Friday

The postholder will be required to obtain an enhanced DBS check and any employment will be subject to a satisfactory check being received.

Nursery Practitioner-Littlebury, Cheshunt

We are looking for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our Bright Stars team. Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of NNEB OR NVQ3 qualification in Childcare. You must be energetic, enthusiastic, be able to work using your own initiative but also be able to contribute to a dedicated team. The position is a full-time role, working 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday, 49 weeks of the year.

Your role will include;

  • Overseeing the smooth running and high-quality early years practice within the room
  • Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
  • Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children.

Nursery Apprentice- Littlebury, Cheshunt
