Bright Stars Nursery has stringent recruitment procedures in place to ensure that we recruit appropriately qualified staff that will be able to provide the best possible care and education for our nursery children.Untitled

The safety of our nursery children is our highest priority and we comply with all relevant legislation to ensure that all staff have the appropriate clearance to work with children. In addition all our staff are required to attend training in Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene which we believe contributes to our high standard of care. We ensure that we recruit members of staff at each of our Nurseries that hold high level qualifications such as; Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Teacher Status, Early Years Professional Status, BA or Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies and NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education. In addition we strive to ensure that all our staff are NVQ Level 3 qualified or working towards this level qualification. Regular training is available to all staff through a variety of providers and this is complemented by in-house training and staff supervision and appraisals on a regular basis.

CURRENT VACANCIES:

 

Nursery Chef (Part Time) – Edmonton

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic chef at our Edmonton Nursery.

The ideal candidate will have a Food Handling certificate and have worked in a busy nursery setting.

We are, however, open to considering someone with more informal experience.

The hours of the role are 8am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.

Enhanced DBS checks will be carried out on all successful applicants

Bank Staff – all settings

We are currently recruiting for Bank Staff to join our team across our nurseries in Cheshunt, Enfield, Edmonton and Southgate.

We need flexible staff who can adapt to any of our settings, covering busy periods and making a positive difference to the children in our care.

This role would be on a zero hour contract and is a great opportunity to build on a career in childcare.
