Bright Stars Nursery has stringent recruitment procedures in place to ensure that we recruit appropriately qualified staff that will be able to provide the best possible care and education for our nursery children.Untitled

The safety of our nursery children is our highest priority and we comply with all relevant legislation to ensure that all staff have the appropriate clearance to work with children. In addition all our staff are required to attend training in Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene which we believe contributes to our high standard of care. We ensure that we recruit members of staff at each of our Nurseries that hold high level qualifications such as; Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Teacher Status, Early Years Professional Status, BA or Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies and NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education. In addition we strive to ensure that all our staff are NVQ Level 3 qualified or working towards this level qualification. Regular training is available to all staff through a variety of providers and this is complemented by in-house training and staff supervision and appraisals on a regular basis.

CURRENT VACANCIES:

Nursery Manager (Term Time) – Southgate

Bright Stars Nursery is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead an enthusiastic team at our Term Time Preschool in Southgate registered for 45 children age 2 to 5 years old. Our nursery is in a quiet area with easy access to public transport.

The successful candidate will have robust knowledge of the EYFS, strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. The individual must be highly motivated, have a positive attitude towards working with children, and be ready to lead and manage team of staff.

Requested qualifications and experiences:

– NVQ Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare
– Previous experience in similar role in an Early Years Setting
– Experience in leading an OFSTED inspection
– A proven track record with OFSTED inspections
– A proven track record of leadership and teamwork
– A thorough knowledge of high-quality teaching & learning in the EYFS
– Able to build positive relationships with the children, parents, carers and staff, as well as other professionals in the field
– Good communication and organisational skill

The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm 40.2 weeks per year.

Salary negotiable dependent upon candidates experience and qualification.

Temporary Deputy Manager (Full Time) – Enfield

Bright Stars Nursery is currently recruiting for a Temporary Deputy Nursery Manager to support the running of our Nursery in Enfield.

The role is to cover long term sickness, with an immediate start, and will be reviewed on a regular basis.

The successful candidate will have significant experience as a Room Leader/Deputy Manager and be keen to work in a busy and vibrant environment.

A solid understanding of EYFS, Safeguarding and Child Protection is essential.

We also require a full and relevant Level 3 qualification, or above, in Childcare.

The hours of the role are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, 49 weeks per year.

Pre School Hall Leader (Term Time) – Southgate

Bright Stars Preschool Nursery is currently recruiting for a Hall Leader to supervise the team of up to 5 people and to support the Nursery Manager in smooth running of the Nursery in Southgate, London..

The successful candidate will have significant experience as a Room Leader/Deputy Manager and be keen to work in a busy and vibrant environment.

A solid understanding of EYFS, Safeguarding and Child Protection is essential.

We also require a full and relevant Level 3 qualification, or above, in Childcare.

The hours of the role are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, 40.2 weeks a year, Term Time position.

Room Leader (Full Time) – Edmonton or Enfield

Bright Stars is an established and thriving nursery set across four locations in London and Hertfordshire.

We are keen to employ a dedicated and professional Room Leader to join our team in Edmonton or Enfield

The successful candidate will be someone who can lead their team, work closely with management and, of course, develop and encourage the children in their care.

We require a Level 3 qualification in Childcare for this role.

The hours of the role are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, 49 weeks per year.

Nursery Practitioner (Full Time) – Edmonton

Our nursery site in Edmonton are looking for an Outstanding Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

The nursery caters for children from 3 months to 5 years.

The successful candidate must hold at least Level 2 qualification in childcare, be energetic, enthusiastic and able to work using their own initiative as well as being able to contribute to a dedicated team.

Experience of being a key worker is desirable but not essential as in-depth training will be given to the successful applicant.

The hours of the role are 8am-6pm Monday-Friday 49 weeks per year.

Bank Staff – all settings
